The Garden City Review is a scholarly local history journal highlighting the original research of historians of high school age. The focus is Beverly, Massachusetts (nicknamed the "Garden City"). This primary research investigates the relationship of their local community and group with the larger national and global historical context.

The articles included in The Garden City Review were originally research papers submitted to "Primary Research Through the History of Beverly", a course taught by W. Dean Eastman at Beverly High School.
