the lower slope having a steeper pitch, ex. a barn roof |

4.) Square on Hip - A hip with all four sides forming a
square on the top of the roof |

5.) Mansard - A steep, almost vertical roof usually with
dormer windows enclosing the top floor. |

6.) Saltbox - A gabled roof in which the rear slope is
much longer than the front. |
