STICK STYLE 1860-1900

    This style could be called carpenter Gothic. The stick work made the outside of a building look like a skeletal structure. The roofs have steeply intersecting gables. Features include structure brackets, projecting bays, towers, pointed dormers and pendants. Large verandas and porches are also characteristic.
