North Beverly Fire Station

This
is a picture of the present North Beverly Fire Station. Before
this building became the fire station, it was the location of
the first cotton mill in America. This is the same place that
George Washington visited. Although Beverly’s cotton mill was
unsuccessful, it was the start of an industrial era.
