Beverly Municipal Airport

In a joint production between the Beverly Aero-Club and the
Beverly Chamber of Commerce, the Beverly Municipal Airport was
established in 1928. From the start, the airport enveloped society
becoming a key landmark of Beverly, as well as a growing site
on a larger scale. This is a vast airport stretching over approximately
415 acres of land, which is used in many diverse circumstances.
An extent of Beverly Airports function is transporting
local travelers within the vicinity. However, the airport does
not just attain exemplary modes of transportation, it is an
airport stretching far beyond those measures. On a broader scale,
the Beverly Airport is recognized as being a base in World War
II for the United States Navy. In addition, the airport assists
Logan International Airport if Logans accessible planes
reach maximum capacity. On a local degree, Beverly Airport provides
a beneficial social and economic impact on the community. By
providing instructional pilot demonstration and public transportation,
the notoriety of the airport and the city increase extensively.
In general, the Beverly Municipal Airport continues to reach
eminent levels of success on a local scale, as well as on a
broader territorial scale.
Countless innovations are attained by the Beverly Municipal
Airport allowing it to have an immortal purpose. In the year
2000, Beverly Airport developed a master plan for future needs
to expand further aviation technology, to better serve the requests
of the community, to upgrade safety, and to rectify revenue
for the airport. Over time, the airport will alter in the sense
that new projects and expansions will take place allowing the
institution to advance physically, economically, and technologically.
Some projects include the assessment of environmental impacts
of runway safety, purchasing snow removal equipment and fencing.
The advancements will be influenced by the physical and technological
improvements, ultimately expanding the yearly income from its
present value of $14 million. It is evident that this figure,
along with other advancements, prove Beverly Airport to be a
signified developing institute. As for the impending years,
the Beverly Municipal Airport will hold a greater significance
via these projects of innovation, thus providing the airport
with an eminent and immortal purpose.
